Seorang lelaki biasa dari sebuah keluarga kecil yang membesar di Metropolis Kuala Lumpur semenjak 1970an lagi. Mendapat pendidikan awal di Sek. Rendah Jalan Air Panas, Setapak dan melanjutkan pelajaran peringkat menengah ke Sekolah Menengah Tinggi Setapak, Kuala Lumpur sehingga awal tahun 1980an. Menyertai KTMB pada tahun 1988 sebagai pembantu traffik dan kini merupakan seorang Free Lance Railway Consultant dengan Canarail Inc, Canada dan berkhidmat dengan Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation.
